About me Nathan Lape
As a Certified Peer Support Specialist, I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work, empowering individuals navigating the challenges of Bipolar Disorder. My approach is grounded in empathy, resilience, and practical strategies that support long-term emotional and mental well-being.
I have a proven track record of success as a personal trainer with premier fitness institutions including Equinox and Lifetime Fitness, where I helped clients achieve lasting physical and lifestyle transformations. My work integrates mind-body wellness to support balanced, holistic growth.
I hold a degree in History, with a deep academic and personal passion for comparative religion, metaphysics, and ancient Egyptian wisdom. These interests enrich my coaching with a spiritual dimension, offering clients perspectives that encourage self-discovery and inner peace.
Prior to coaching, I was a professional baseball player drafted by the Colorado Rockies, an experience that instilled in me discipline, focus, and the power of mindset—core values I now pass on to those I coach.
My life and philosophy are deeply inspired by reggae music and the teachings of Rastafari, which promote unity, self-empowerment, and conscious living. These values are reflected in my work as a coach and mentor, helping others reconnect with purpose, balance, and self-love.
The Vitality name pays homage to someone very special to me who passed away, Lauren Wardell. She had an online coaching business which was called The Vitality Movement. With Bipolar Vitality, I hope to carry on her spirit and apply the same passion and love she did in her work which positively changed the lives of so many people.
